  More than 50 people work to ensure the company’s success. With Research and Development being the principal objective Neotion allocates 50% of human resources to product development.  The average age of the company staff is 31 year-old. Located in an expanding high-tech area near Marseille, the NEOTION team enjoys a great working environment.                                                                                                                             
The executive team defines the company’s vision and strategy, supervises its implementation, while ensuring the employees’ motivation. Coming from a variety of backgrounds (Europe/Asia, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance), the members of the executive team have diversified expertise and experiences covering all the aspects of our activity.

Loïc Bernard has more than 12 years in Strategy, M&A, Business Development, Management. Before being appointed COO, CFO, he was Executive Vice-President of Strategy & Planning, where he was in charge of the company strategy, partnership projects and the relationships with large investment funds and shareholders as well as its IPO. Moreover, he has negotiated worldwide contracts with the main TV Makers.

Previously, he spent 10 years at Gemplus where has held various responsibilities in Marketing, Business Development, Strategy, Merger and Acquisition (M&A) on behalf of Gemplus CEO. He worked on defining crucial strategic axis and has negotiated and overseen several critical M&A, partnerships and joint ventures. He successfully managed the acquisition, integration and overseeing of a major stake, Skidata AG (500 people), and then its spin-off.

Laurent JABIOL has co-founded NEOTION in 2000. He has now 20 years of experience in management and Business Development activities in High-Tech, both in the PC and the Digital TV sectors.

At 20 years-old, he co-founded and became Sales Director of a pan-European Distributor and Representative of PC peripherals. During 9 years, he was responsible for OEM business with tier one PC makers, as well as for establishing and managing a B2C distribution channel.

Prior to starting NEOTION in 2000, Laurent was the Southern Europe Sales and Marketing Director for SCM Microsystems where he successfully developed the PC security and Digital TV markets.

Laurent has been CEO and Chairman of NEOTION from 2006 till 2008, a period during which he successfully worked through an IPO process and then managed end of 2007 to bring in a strategic corporate investor.

Over the years, Laurent has been instrumental in getting Neotion involved in some essential Standardization as well as lobbying activities that are now setting the foundations for the company’s development. Sidewise, he filed 15 patents.

Beside his active involvement in leading Strategy & Technology, Laurent is Board Member and Deputy Director of Neotion.
