Powered by NEOTION disruptive new Secure Chipset technology, the NEOTION Plug-n-Play TV CAM enables digital TV sets (iDTV) and DVB-CI and CI Plus Set-Top Boxes to decode TV Programs encrypted with Conditional Acces : CONAXTM, IRDETOTM, VIACCESSTM etc.
Slotted in the Common Interface (CI) slot, NEOTION CAM allow customers to simply benefit from the booming emergence of MPEG-4/MPEG-2 TV channels encrypted with a Conditional Acces System in addition to the reception of Free To Air TV channels on their iDTV, without adding a Set Top Box under their TV.
These NEOTION CAM are available in different models adapted to end-users, TV and Telco Operators requirements.

Using NEOTION's CAM with any legacy digital TV set (iDTV) can serve as a true Digital Hub. Fuelled by the analogue switch-off that over 100 countries have committed to complete by 2015 at the latest, iDTV will sell in tens of millions each year. These sets come with a digital Scart, as per the European Directive 2002-22 obligation.That Digital Scart Common Interface enables plug-and-play compatibility for the CAM range of products.
